Natalia Oreiro’s visit to Armenia

Alashkert became Armenia's cup winner
The final match of the Armenian Cup was held in the renovated and reopened Banants Stadium in May. The country champions Alashkert and Lori competed. Alashkert Football Club won the Armenian Cup for the first time in history as a result of tense and persistent struggle.
For the first time in Armenia a Wedding Festival was held
For the first time in Armenia on May 11, the "Wedding Festival" was held in Armenia.

The "Yerevan-2800" park was opened
In May, the park dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan was opened in the capital of Armenia, Yerevan, which was rebuilt with funding from the Vardanyan family. A fountain with 2800 sheets has been erected, with 7 types of granite stones decorated with ancient Armenian carpets, 5420 sq. M. 5 bronze statues of water fountain have been installed in 4 corners and center of the fountain complex. Bronze statues of a bull and a lion with a Urartian theme, 76 benches, 62 rubbish bins and 126 lamps in their original form have been installed in the park․
YSU is 100 Years Old
On May 16, YSU celebrated its 100th anniversary. Celebrations dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Yerevan State University had already started in Gyumri. Among the festivities was a concert program dedicated to the 100th anniversary of YSU in the yard of YSU Central Building, during which singer Iveta Mukuchyan performed. The event was attended by former and present YSU students and lecturers, who came together to celebrate the 100th anniversary of YSU foundation.
30 years later with Harut Pambukchyan
On June 30, at the Hrazdan Stadium, RA Honored Artist, beloved singer Harut Pambukchyan (Left Harut) again met his fans 30 years later. Lilit Hovhannisyan, Andy, Arman Hovhannisyan, Armenchik also participated in the concert.
Soso Pavliashvili's concert in Yerevan
On September 17, at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex a concert of Soso Pavliashvili and Navarre Orchestra took place. In October, Armenia was in the spotlight of the world. WCIT-2019 IT World Forum was held in the capital Yerevan. More than 2,000 delegations from over 60 countries arrived in our country. The theme of the conference was “The Power of Decentralization. expectation and danger.” The conference discussed in detail how ICTs are positively and negatively transforming our lives, impacting profit and prosperity, security and security, democracy and humanity.
Yevgeni Petrosyan's visit to Armenia
On November 24, for the first time in 20 years, Yevgeni Petrosyan gave a concert in the historic homeland of Armenia. Petrosyan was last in Armenia 3-4 years ago with a delegation of cultural figures.
Kapan became the youth capital of 2020
At the beginning of December, the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport summed up the assessments of the SMS voting and expert group of the "Youth Capital 2020" competition. As a result, out of 5 applicant cities (Armavir, Gavar, Goris, Kapan and Hrazdan) Kapan became the Youth Capital of the Republic of Armenia in 2020. This means that by 2020, Youth events will be actively implemented in the southern city of Armenia, promoting the development of youth capacities in Kapan.
100 ideas for Armenia-2009
The results of the Pan-Armenian Youth Contest "100 Ideas for Armenia" by the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport were summarized on December 10. The competition was evaluated by a panel of experts, resulting in 16 bids, of which 5 were winners.
In December the results of the “Youth Award-2009” program was also summarized. The awards were held in 11 nominations this year. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia had a primary goal of promoting youth participation in public life.
